Case Study: Nebraska Accident Reconstruction
NAR-LLC found the flexibility and responsiveness of our animation service to be highly cost-effective. Throughout (and in between) every project, a constant stream of dialogue - via email, phonecalls and meetings - has been maintained. Adding the personal touch of genuine conversation lent itself to a much more enjoyable business relationship. It also ensured we always understood each other completely.
Prior to working with us, NAR focused chiefly on their data collection service. In cases where animation was required, they painstakingly produced these themselves using commercially available CAD software over a number of weeks. Neal Trantham, partner at NAR and off-duty police officer, was curious to see how his own animations compared to ours. Using the same kind of data that NAR had collected at the scene, we were able to produce higher quality animations much faster than Neal was used to. In his own words:
"I have been utterly impressed by what they have been able to do with my materials (photos, hand measurements, total station/laser measurements, and analysis). It's as if they're able to give the jury a front-row seat at the scene on the day of the incident!
"Reports, charts, diagrams and expert testimony can be confusing for jurors to understand. A highly accurate Scene Systems animation brings a case together and helps the forensic expert explain visually what words and other exhibits cannot."
Neal has now worked with us to coordinate 7 further animation projects. NAR remain a valued client and we look forward to continued project work with them in the future.
"As a police officer and parter in an accident reconstruction firm I find that Scene Systems provides the most comprehensive, most accurate, and most flexible animation package out there."
