Scene Systems at LACBA training event
We used the occasion to demonstrate some of our latest work, including an accurate reconstruction of the Hudson River Plane Crash, which can now be seen on YouTube, and several case studies also available on our website. We also raffled a free animation service and the lucky winner's case animation is already underway.
The LACBA is the largest local voluntary bar association in the USA with a membership of more than 24,000 attorneys. We were very happy to sponsor the event, as it gave us a great chance to connect with attorneys practicing in the areas where we do our animations, and get a personal feel for our client base.
Being a Continued Legal Education training event, it seemed an appropriate occasion for us to introduce ourselves to a few progressive attorneys. Forensic animation is booming here in the US as a modern form of demonstrative evidence that is fast becoming a standard in litigation.
Nevertheless, it came as a pleasant surprise to us that most of the people we spoke to had used - or had wanted to use - legal animations in past cases. Explaining that they typically used them only for the very biggest cases, we were keen to show what we were capable of, and how we could be of use to them in more practice areas and cases than they thought.
