MSNBC: Now we've got a recreation

MSNBC's "The Rachel Maddow Show" aired our animated reconstruction of the Hudson River Plane Landing prime-time on 4th March.

Scene Systems' Hudson River plane landing reconstruction was broadcast on US national television at 6:32pm, 8:32pm and 11:32pm PST on 4th March 2009, during MSNBC's "The Rachel Maddow Show".

Rachel Maddow introduced it as an interesting clip for a general audience, but rightly added that these kind of animations are made for legal purposes in lawsuits. She began:

"In the aftermath [of the landing], we were ultimately able to hear the cockpit voice recordings, we were able to hear from passengers and the crew what it was like in the moment of that landing, but now ... we've got a two-minute recreation of what happened on Flight 1549."

The animation was shown in its entireity, and the section closed with Rachel admitting, "frankly, all I did at work today was watch that over and over and over again all day".

The section of the show where we featured can now be watched online right here on our website, or over at the MSNBC website. The same video is also available on YouTube and many other content networks.

Scene Systems' animation was also featured in the Spotlight section of the MSNBC website's front page shortly after the show, relating to its appearance on The Rachel Maddow Show.
