Scene Systems Exhibits at LegalTech West 6/24-25

Showcases proprietary technology and groundbreaking 3D graphics that are changing how lawyers approach the courtroom.
LOS ANGELES – In the aftermath of the famous landing of US Airways flight 1549 in the Hudson River  Jan. 16, the entire flight -- from take off to watery touch down -- was quickly and masterfully recreated in a 3D animation that was commented on by major news outlets around the world.

The company behind the Miracle on the Hudson recreation is Scene Systems, Inc. and the technology used to make that famous animation will be on full display at LegalTech West Coast 2009, June 24-25 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. While Rachel Maddow of MSNBC said she could not stop watching the Hudson animation, this unique software is actually designed for attorneys to create compelling 3D presentations and recreations for the purpose of explaining information to a jury in a manner that is easy to understand, engaging, and hard to forget.

In the age of Twitter, blogs, and blackberries, where jurors are constantly overloaded with bite-sized information,  focusing on complex evidence and listening to oral arguments for long periods of time is ever more difficult. While the use of visual aids, and even animation, is not new to the courtroom, what sets Scene Systems’ technology apart from other animation providers is the ability to bring to life elements that would be difficult , or impossible, to visualize in a real life situation. Scene Systems specializes in using expert engineering, amazing graphics, and technical knowledge to keep jurors compelled. This is accomplished by turning complex information into animations that are interesting to watch and highly persuasive. So precise are the animations that they are already being lauded by trial lawyers practicing in the areas of Patent Infringement, Aviation, Medical Malpractice, Vehicle Accidents, and Products Liability.

“The response from attorneys has been extremely positive,” said Scene Systems New York Managing Director Barbara Cronan. “Most agree that the technology is truly cutting edge and an amazing tool in terms of getting jurors to receive and retain what can often be extremely technical information and evidence.”

Scene Systems Inc. will be exhibiting at Booth # 401. Brad Kolacinski, Business Development Director from the Los Angeles office, and Barbara Cronan, Managing Director of the New York office, will be demonstrating a proprietary 3D exhibit presentation tool for the courtroom, the Liveframe Presenter, which provides ultimate flexibility in presenting and producing visuals for the courtroom. Brad and Barbara will also show how attorneys can even render their own customized versions of the animation from any new point of view and capture infinite 2D static exhibits to complete a visual strategy.

Stop by booth #401 for a live demonstration. If you cannot make it to LegalTech West Coast, please feel free to contact Scene Systems directly to learn more about how the company is changing litigation as we know it.
