PRACTICE AREAS

Types of case
Scene Systems is able to create highly effective visuals for use in training in a wide variety of fields, including:
- Police training visualizing tactics and organization
- Emergency services training for ambulance or fire response
- Military training of strategies including briefing for missions
- Corporate training of employees for correct procedure
Accuracy measures
Scenarios are depicted accurately, to maximize the transfer of skills and understanding from the training session into real life.
- Photo matching where possible to create environments or textures
- Maps, diagrams and other schematics incorporated
- Correct scaling for realistic depiction of people, rooms, objects, etc.
- Accurate movement including speed of people and objects
Graphical effects
Realistic 3D graphics allow viewers to identify strongly with what they see, thereby maximizing the benefit they can draw from it.
- Fully realistic human motion on all characters, e.g. running, falling
- Lighting and shadows appropriate to events, e.g. burning, gunfire
- Night, day or the appropriate level of visibility reproduced
- Insignia, logos, attire, etc., can all be matched appropriately
Animation Techniques
We use our understanding of psychology, in discussion with you, to convey the crucial messages of the training session most clearly to the audience.
- Multiple versions of events to train for "what if" scenarios
We can run over a scenario with multiple different options, paths and outcomes to fully show trainees the consequences of different decisions.
- Annotations such as markers, arrows, lines, rulers, timers, etc.
We superimpose annotations such as these to clarify the message of the visualization. The animation can be played both with and without these markers.
- Point-of-view cameras for any of the characters
A point-of-view camera puts the audience in a first-person perspective, making such shots exceptionally comprehensible and directly understandable.
- Overview cameras at infinite "bird's eye" angles
"Bird's eye" camera shots give the audience an exceptionally powerful understanding of the logical relationships between all the people and objects in a scene, all at once. This greatly aids their understanding of the scenario as a whole.
Discussion
When beginning work on your training animation project, we will discuss various details so that we can determine:
- Core narrative that structures the animation coherently
- Alternate scenarios required to train for "what if" situations
- Crucial elements that require emphasis and clarity
- Training strategy incorporating the animation for maximum benefit
